Frequently Asked Questions about Korean Institute Of Minnesota
KIM is open to all (ages) who want to learn Korean language and culture. KIM provides various activities and classes, from toddler’s class to adult classes. Most of the students at KIM are Korean-adoptees and Korean-Americans. KIM is a resource as an information center for Korean-Americans, adoptees, and their families and friends. KIM has two terms; Fall and Spring, and each term is 10 weeks.
Fall term: September - November
Spring term: March – May
You can register now through online registration, or you can register at KIM when the classes start.
All the classes at KIM are taught in English. And most of the teachers at KIM speak both Korean and English, so whether your child speaks Korean or not teachers will provide meaningful time for your child.
Yes, KIM has a toddler class. Class provides time to learn Korean Nursery songs and fun activities with their Mom and Dad.
KIM has various activities and classes of Korean language and Korean culture, including language classes, Taekwondo class, and Korean brush painting class. See class information for more detail.
