Youth Classes

Mugunghwa
Ages 3-6

Students will learn Korean (Hangul) through song, stories, Korean traditional arts, crafts, games and play.

중/고등부
Teen/Young Adult

Students will learn how to read, write and speak the Korean alphabet, as well as learn basic vocabulary, sentence structure and conversational Korean through textbook and other cultural mediums.

 

This class is best for learners who wish to connect with Korean culture and identity as they acquire basic language skills.

호랑이
Horangee 
Grades 1-3

Students will learn how to read, write, and speak the Korean alphabet, as well as build a basic vocabulary. The students will also participate in Korean traditional games and activities. 

 

This class is for school aged children with no previous experience learning Korean or a very basic knowledge of Korean (Hangul).

태극기
Taegukgi
Grades 4-6

Students will learn how to read and write Hangul, as well as expand beyond basic vocabulary.  The students will also participate in Korean traditional games and activities.

 

This class is for school aged children who have mastered Hangul and are able to speak simple sentences in Korean.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

All youth IN-PERSON classes are held at the Korean Presbyterian Church of MN located at: 5840 Humboldt Avenue, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430. 

 

Classes will be held between 9:00AM-12:00PM. Masks will be optional for all students attending the Saturday classes.
